Initial Interview

Upon calling us or filling out the webform, we will learn about your child’s and family’s needs. We will listen, connect, and determine if we are the right match for your joey’s journey.

Funding Options and/or Insurance Verification

At this step of the journey, we will identify what funding sources are available to you and how we can best support your financial needs in a strong match to your child’s developmental needs. We will identify the cost of services including copay and deductible amounts. ABA is the only approach endorsed by the US Surgeon General to address Autism needs. It also has been proven to support the development of all populations.  It is our mission to help your family get the treatment they require for moving forward.

Enrollment Paperwork

This step is where we will have initial paperwork completed (HIPAA, consent for services, etc.) to allow us to coordinate care amongst your providers and ensure we have a transparent path to assessment needs.

Assessment + Treatment Planning

This is where we meet face to face (or virtually during the current times, per family preference) for 2 needs. A parent interview (roughly 1-2 hours) to assess in depth all developmental domains requiring intervention as well as strength. Secondly, this will be for the master’s level clinician to work 1:1 with your child to establish a baseline for their skills across all observable domains. With this information, a 6-month treatment plan with baseline and goals is developed and shared.

Start Your Team

Once the treatment plan is reviewed and agreed upon by the family and any required funders, an ABA team of Registered Behavior Technicians is assembled. The team will be set based on clinical recommendations and your available hours.

Intervention Services

We use methods of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to help your child achieve socially significant and age-appropriate goals. This includes learning how to learn, play skills, independent living skills, and above all, communication skills. This is done through the following types of approaches:

  • Verbal Behavior

  • Precision Teaching

  • Positive Behavior Support

  • Picture Exchange Communication Systems

  • Natural Environment Teaching

While using these approaches, we believe it is important to match the best approach combination up with your child's needs in order to capitalize on the time they are in therapy.
